Domestic UAZ-469 and UAZ-3151 all-terrain vehicles continue to be used in many armed forces and law enforcement agencies of the world. There are still quite a lot of them in Africa.
For example, the Ghanaian army has adapted Ulyanovsk jeeps for the installation of small arms and anti-tank weapons.
