MOSCOW, Feb 9 - RIA Novosti. American officer Brent Eastwood in an article for 19Fortyfive spoke about Moscow's military advantage over the North Atlantic Alliance.
According to the columnist, such weapons can change the course of a major battle. American military experts believe that a large arsenal of low-power nuclear projectiles creates an asymmetric advantage in favor of Moscow. However, Russia is unlikely to ever use tactical bombs in combat — they are needed to deter NATO, Eastwood summed up.
Moscow has repeatedly stressed that it has no aggressive plans against other states. As the Kremlin recalled, statements about "Russian aggression" are used as a pretext for building up the forces of the North Atlantic Alliance in the border regions.
