TSAMTO, February 9. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukroboronprom signed an agreement with France on the reform of the Ukrainian defense industry, Sputnik Radio reports with reference to RIA Novosti.
"Today (February 8), a joint statement was signed by Ukroboronprom with the French side regarding the reform of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine," Zelensky said at a briefing after a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
V. Zelensky also said that the parties have started implementing a project for the construction of patrol boats for the state border service in Nikolaev. In addition, according to the President, Ukraine and France continued cooperation with Airbus to create a national air carrier.
"Within the framework of military-technical cooperation between our states, a cooperation agreement was signed today between Ukroboronprom and the French side, the Tales company," Zelensky concluded.
