An unmanned aerial vehicle in the shape of a drop was invented in the laboratory of Sevastopol State University (SevSU). According to one of the creators Sergey Dudnikov, the unusual shape was chosen for a high and high-quality coefficient of lift. The development is based on solving the inverse problem of thermodynamics.
SevSU scientists are also working on the creation of air taxis and heavy transport drones. To do this, the necessary testing infrastructure has been built in the village of Holland, experiments on which are expected in 2022.
It should be noted that within the framework of one of the grants, the Sevastopol university has already developed a system of high-precision local positioning for unmanned control of a vessel along a given fairway.
Earlier iot.ru I wrote about another interesting drone - the Orion drone with satellite communication, the flight of which is expected before the end of March. This device is from the Kronstadt company it is capable of being in the air for up to a day.
