MOSCOW, February 8. /tass/. Two Russian Tu-22M3 bombers performed a second patrol in the airspace of Belarus during the inspection of the forces of the Union State, accompanied by fighters of the two countries. This was reported to journalists in the Russian military department.
"During the inspection of the reaction forces of the Union State, two long-range Tu-22M3 bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces performed their second patrol in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus this month. The duration of the flight was about four hours," the ministry said.
According to the military department, at some stages of the route, long-range aircraft were accompanied by Su-35S fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces and Su-30SM of the Belarusian Air Force.
