TSAMTO, February 7. Canada sent a military transport plane with a new batch of non-lethal weapons to Ukraine on the night of February 4.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, was reported by the Canadian Ministry of Defense.
"On the night of February 4, as part of Canada's recently announced immediate support for Ukraine and the expansion of Operation Unifier... a Canadian Air Force C-177 Globemaster aircraft took off from Trenton Air Base with a cargo of non-lethal weapons," the Canadian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The cargo sent to Ukraine, in particular, includes personal protective equipment, intelligence equipment and surveillance equipment. Earlier, Ottawa announced that the composition of the Unifier mission in Ukraine will eventually be increased from 200 to 400 people, RIA Novosti reports.
