Moscow. February 6. INTERFAX - Russian military at exercises of Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) in the Ivanovo region, the field positions of the Yars missile systems have been changed, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on Sunday.
"About 1,000 military personnel were involved in the exercise, more than 100 pieces of equipment were involved," the report says.
"Autonomous launchers of the Yars PGRK of the Teikovo missile compound (Ivanovo region) We have changed field positions while working out combat duty tasks on combat patrol routes," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"Strategic rocket scientists are working out the issues of bringing missile systems to field positions, making marches up to 100 kilometers long, dispersing units with a change of field positions, their engineering equipment, organization of camouflage and combat protection," the report says.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced on January 25 that it would enter the patrol routes of the Yars mobile complexes in the Ivanovo region as part of the exercise.
On February 2, the Military Department of the Russian Federation reported that the Tagil division of the RVSN also began exercises with the withdrawal of "Yars" on combat patrol routes. The message of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that the training exit to the field positions of the missile regiment with "Yars" takes place in the Sverdlovsk region. The military, in particular, are working out tasks to counter conventional saboteurs.
The Strategic Missile Forces is a branch of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the main component of its strategic nuclear forces. The strategic missile forces are designed for nuclear deterrence of possible aggression.
