Baku. February 6. INTERFAX-AZERBAIJAN - The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claims that the Armenian side fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani military in Nagorno-Karabakh on Sunday.
"Members of the illegal Armenian armed formation on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, on February 6, from 00:23 to 02:12, for no reason, periodically fired small arms at positions of the Azerbaijani army located in the direction of the village of Gapanli in the Terter district," the military department said in a statement.
The Defense Ministry added that civilians and personnel of Azerbaijani units were not injured as a result of the incident.
