Kiev. February 5. INTERFAX-UKRAINE - Canada has sent a plane to Ukraine with a cargo of non-lethal weapons and instructors who will train Ukrainian servicemen to work with it, the press service of the Canadian Defense Ministry reported.
"Among the equipment sent are personal protective equipment and cargo transfer, as well as reconnaissance equipment and surveillance equipment," a release on the website of the Canadian Ministry of Defense said.
The ministry added that Canadian servicemen will also arrive in Ukraine by C-177 Globemaster aircraft, which took off from Trenton base, who will "help in the integration of equipment" and teach Ukrainian security forces to work with it.
