Rostec has created a new means of protection against aggressive animals

Technodinamika Holding (part of Rostec) has created a new portable means of protection against aggressive animals Pyrodefende. The device is not a weapon, no license or storage permit is required for its purchase, the state corporation reported.

Pyrodefender consists of two electric batteries for the initiation system and two types of cartridges - flash and signal. The case is equipped with a fuse and a battery charge indicator.

"When the cartridge is triggered, a light flash and a sound clap of up to 140 Db are formed, which are able to drive away an aggressive animal. At the same time, the device is absolutely safe and is not capable of causing real harm," Rostec noted.

It is noted that the device has already gone on sale, the price is about 4500 rubles. The weight of Pyrodefender is 95 grams.
