INTERFAX - A large-scale training on the destruction of radio communication lines in various ranges and the application of electronic strikes on the control points of a conditional enemy was carried out at the training grounds of the Western Military District (ZVO), said the commander of the district's troops, Colonel-General Alexander Zhuravlev.
"Scheduled training of electronic warfare units is carried out on a regular basis. The tasks of radio-electronic destruction of radio communication lines in various ranges and the application of radio-electronic strikes on the control points of a conditional enemy have been worked out. The training goals have been fully achieved," the commander's press service quoted the commander as saying on Thursday.
The specialists also fulfilled the standards for the deployment of electronic warfare systems and their camouflage, organized security and defense, and suppressed the signals of radio-controlled land mines and mines.
"Krasukha, Borisoglebsk, Murmansk electronic warfare systems, Leer mobile complexes and Resident automated jamming stations were used to perform the tasks," the report says.
