The Memorandum of Cooperation between Glavkosmos and Bangladesh Satellite Company Ltd. will be valid until the end of 2026
MOSCOW, February 2. /tass/. Glavkosmos (part of Roscosmos) and Bangladesh Satellite Company Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation, which implies the creation of a satellite system for remote sensing of the Earth (remote sensing) "Bangabandhu-2" in the interests of the republic. This is stated in the company's message, distributed on Wednesday.
"The parties express their intentions to establish partnership relations in order to develop long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of promotion of products and services of the Russian rocket and space industry in the territory of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, including the creation of the Bangabandhu-2 satellite remote sensing system," the memorandum says.
The document also implies cooperation in the creation of ground-based satellite stations for receiving remote sensing data from Russian and foreign spacecraft, the provision of launch and consulting services, the organization of educational programs in the field of space.
As specified in Glavkosmos, the memorandum of cooperation comes into force after signing and will be valid until the end of 2026.
