Russia has released a large batch of small arms in the interests of a foreign customer. The Kalashnikov Group of Companies (GC) has released a batch of automatic rifles for a customer from the Asia-Pacific region (APR). This was reported in the press service of Kalashnikov, reports TASS .
"A large batch of assault rifles was produced in an accelerated mode at the site of Kalashnikov Concern JSC in the interests of a foreign customer from the Asia-Pacific countries under a contract concluded by Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation)," the GC reported.
The press service noted that in 2021, the output of military export products increased by more than 70 percent compared to 2020. High-precision weapons, machine guns of the Ratnik series, machine guns of the hundredth and two hundredth series were among the main names of Kalashnikov export products.
Earlier it became known that the KUB barrage ammunition received an export appearance passport. This will allow us to offer a drone developed by ZALA Aero (part of the Kalashnikov Group of Companies) to foreign customers.
In December, Russia and India signed a contract for the supply of Indian-made AK-203 assault rifles. The Ministry of Defense of India will receive 600 thousand 7.62 mm caliber submachine guns.
