All the necessary facilities for comfortable living of military personnel have been erected in the field camp
MOSCOW, February 1. /tass/. The motorized rifle brigade of the Eastern Military District (VVO) of the Russian Armed Forces deployed in Belarus during the exercises, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.
"The military personnel of the motorized rifle unit of the combined arms army of the Air Force, involved in the verification of the reaction forces of the Union State, have completed the deployment of a field camp in Belarus at the Brest training ground," the report says.
According to the ministry, all the necessary facilities for comfortable living of military personnel in the field, canteens and medical facilities have been erected in the field camp. Three hot meals a day are organized for military personnel. The tents maintain a comfortable air temperature for living. In the area of the exercises, combat vehicle fleets are equipped to accommodate weapons and military equipment with repair and refueling points, fuel and lubricants and ammunition depots.
The verification of the reaction forces of the Union State will take place in two stages. At the first stage, by February 9, the redeployment and creation of groups of troops (forces) will be carried out as soon as possible on the territory of Belarus, the organization of the protection and defense of important state and military facilities, the protection of the state border in the airspace, checking the readiness and ability of the air defense forces and means on duty to perform tasks to cover important facilities.
During the second stage of the inspection, from February 10 to 20, joint exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022" will be held, within which issues of suppressing and repelling external aggression, as well as countering terrorism and protecting the interests of the Union State will be worked out.
Practical actions of the troops (forces) will take place at the ranges "Domanovsky", "Gozhsky", "Obuz-Lesnovsky", "Brest" and "Osipovichsky", as well as in certain areas of the terrain located on the territory of Belarus. It is planned to use the airfields "Baranovichi", "Luninets", "Lida" and "Machulishchi". "The number of military personnel and equipment involved in the exercises falling under the Vienna Document of 2011 does not exceed the parameters defined by it, which are subject to notification," the message emphasizes.
