KTRV has prepared for the serial production of mini-satellites of its own production
The Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV) has advanced in the process of preparing for the release of mini-satellites of its own production. Vadim Khromov, Deputy General Director of the enterprise for Corporate Construction and Investments, said this in an interview with TASS .
"In my opinion, we have advanced further than all of those Russian manufacturers who stated that they are designing such small devices in Russia. We are not only announcing the start of work, the component base has already been determined, we understand that we are reaching almost one hundred percent import substitution of all satellite components, which means guaranteed mass production," Khromov said.
The Deputy General Director of KTRV noted that the Military Industrial Complex NPO Mashinostroeniya had developed a promising spacecraft on an initiative basis.
Earlier it became known about the postponement of the launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicles. SpaceX postponed the launch date of a rocket with an Italian satellite observing the Earth's surface.
In December, Kyodo news agency announced the preparation of the launch of the world's first satellite made of wood. The device is planned to be launched in 2023.
