MOSCOW, January 31. /tass/. The new Magic sports parachute has received permission for mass production in Russia. This was reported to journalists on Monday in the press service of the Rostec state Corporation.
"Technodinamika Holding of Rostec State Corporation has received permission for the serial production of the Magic sports parachute system, with which you can jump in the discipline of single or group acrobatics from a height of up to 4,000 meters. The product fully meets the requirements of the military, it has been assigned the letter O1," the press service said.
The Magic parachute system consists of a main 9-section "wing" type dome and a spare 7-section one, as well as a backpack with a suspension system. The parachute allows athletes-parachutists of average level of training to switch from student parachutes to high-speed ones.
The main feature of the new system is a lightweight and compact satchel. It does not restrict movement during the jump and allows you to freely perform acrobatic figures during free fall. The parachute opens gently, and also has high stability in a turbulent atmosphere.
"When creating the line of sports parachute systems Magic, modern materials, new design and technological solutions were used. Thus, the dome of the main parachute is completely made of fabric with zero breathability, its profile has a narrower shape compared to analogues. The slings are made of a cord that is stable, does not shrink or stretch, and therefore does not change the characteristics of the dome," the press service quotes Igor Nasenkov, CEO of Technodinamika.
The Magic line was developed by the Ivanovo Parachute Plant "Flight" of the Technodinamika holding. Earlier, the company also created a sports parachute system "Malva-24", designed for jumping from a height of up to 2,000 meters. Today, this system is used by sports teams of the Ministry of Defense.
