MOSCOW, January 30. /tass/. The Russian Navy is showing great interest in the newest hovercraft "Haska-10" produced by the Kalashnikov Group of companies. This was stated by the general director of the shipbuilding enterprise "Rybinsk Shipyard" (part of the group") Sergey Antonov.
"The Navy is showing great interest in this vessel, because it is a reliable and all-weather transporter for equipment, cargo in the conditions of the Far North or in other places where there is no developed infrastructure," Antonov said in the Military Acceptance program on the Zvezda TV channel on Sunday.
He specified that a cargo weighing up to 10 tons can be placed on the Haska-10. "It can accommodate four UAZ trucks, a Tiger-type car, and UAZ trucks -loaves." The total weight should be 10 tons," said the General Director of the Rybinsk Shipyard.
According to him, the vessel is also considered as a cargo or passenger vessel.
In August 2021, it was reported that the Kalashnikov Group of companies on the eve of the Army 2020 forum presented the Haska-10 amphibious hovercraft, developed by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade by the Rybinsk Shipyard.
The Rybinsk Shipyard started developing the Haska-10 in early 2018. The work is carried out within the framework of the state program "Development of shipbuilding and equipment for the development of offshore fields for 2013-2030". This hovercraft can move in any conditions, in climatic conditions up to minus 50 degrees.
