According to the channel's sources, the purpose of this meeting is to "light a fire" in the entire hypersonic industry, as well as to ensure that the industry gains momentum. In addition to the head of the Pentagon, it will be attended by the heads of Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Technologies, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Leidos, Aerojet Rocketdyne, BAE Systems, L3Harris and a number of other defense companies.
