IXcellerate, a leading Russian operator of commercial data centers, has raised about $ 190 million from existing shareholders and new investors, including Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala, the UAE sovereign wealth fund), SberInvest and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF, the sovereign Wealth Fund of the Russian Federation), the operator said on Tuesday.
The company will direct investments to expand the Northern and Southern Campuses in Moscow, which will allow IXcellerate to build new facilities, increase energy intensity and ensure the operation of one of the largest data center campuses in Europe. Scaling the business in accordance with the highest industry standards will allow IXcellerate to offer additional capacity to customers, maintain service availability at 99.999% and guarantee better connectivity - the conditions necessary for the success of digital leaders in the new economy.
