JSC "Central Research Institute of Economics, Informatics and Control Systems" (CNII EISU), which is a supplier of software for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, was declared bankrupt, Kommersant reports .
The Central Research Institute of EISU was engaged in the development of specialized software, operating systems of the "Dawn" and "Dawn" family based on Linux, as well as robotics for the needs of the Ministry of Defense.
The decision on this was made by the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal. The debt of the company, which is part of Rostec, amounted to 3.57 billion rubles, the largest creditors are the structures of this state corporation.
At the same time, creditors are going to take away the main asset of the contractor — a four-storey mansion located on Moscow's Tverskoy Boulevard. The area of the plot under it is 3.1 thousand square meters. And the market value of the mansion reaches about 7 billion rubles.
The institute's developments will be transferred to the profile enterprises of the holding to complete the projects. Among the developments were geoinformation systems, facial recognition and database management systems, and others. According to open sources, the Central Research Institute has more than 20 patents.
