Minsk. January 24. INTERFAX - The head of the State Border Committee of Belarus, Anatoly Lappo, announced the concentration of weapons to protect the state border in the Ukrainian direction and the opportunity to use reserves if necessary.
"We have the forces and means, the necessary equipment and weapons to protect the state border. The main efforts will be focused on the Ukrainian direction, as well as certain areas where there will be risks and threats to external security," Lappo said on the Belarus-1 TV channel on Monday.
He also assured that "we have all the reserves for an instant response in this direction."
