For the first time, servicemen from the Republic of Djibouti will be trained to work with the Uran-6 robotic mine clearance complex at the International Mine Action Center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, stationed in Nakhabino near Moscow. This was reported on Monday in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"A group of eight foreign specialists has started training according to the robotics and special works course program," the report says.
According to the military department, the training of African servicemen will be conducted at the facilities of the educational and material base (classrooms and training facilities, including at the robotics center, where the trainees will receive skills in managing the multifunctional robotic mine clearance complex "Uran-6"), equipped with the experience of performing tasks in Syria.
The training of foreign servicemen is carried out by experienced teachers of the center who have combat experience in mine clearance.
The training course will last until April 10 and will end with a final exam with the acceptance of credits and the issuance of a certificate of completion of the training of the established sample.
