MOSCOW, January 24. /tass/. The revenue of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation (KTRV) increased to 300 billion rubles in 2021. This was announced in an interview with TASS in honor of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the corporation by the general director of KTRV Boris Obnosov.
"If we consider the results of last year, the net profit amounted to 27.5 billion rubles. KTRV's revenue exceeded 300 billion rubles, which makes the corporation one of the largest players in the global arms market," said Obnosov.
According to him, KTRV has shown a significant increase in revenue over 20 years of existence. "At the initial stage of KTRV's activity, we were looking for ways to survive. I won't hide it. Today we have consistently high indicators. Revenue increased more than 40 times compared to 2003. This allows us to make a net profit by reducing costs and develop in order to create new products," said the CEO of KTRV.
According to Obnosov, the corporation has undergone major changes in the course of its operation. "A lot of work has been done to bring different management systems to uniform corporate standards. There is a system of a single financial center, a system of financial and economic management that unites the budgets of all enterprises, and we clearly control them on the boards of directors. At the same time, all enterprises retain their legal entity," he summed up.
KTRV was formed in March 2003 on the basis of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin of January 24, 2002. The Corporation became the first integrated structure of the Defense Industry of the Russian Federation, which concentrated scientific and production resources for the creation of advanced guided missiles and tactical guided missile systems.
