The first military drone has been created in Uzbekistan.
The technical characteristics of the device and the production capacity are not disclosed.
Everything that is known at the moment is in the review. Uzbekistan has mastered the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
"A research and production center for unmanned aircraft complexes has been established under the State Committee of the Defense Industry. This center has established the production of Lochin (Falcon) unmanned aerial vehicles that fully meet international technical requirements and standards," the State Committee reported.
At the same time, Uzbekistan became the first Central Asian country to master its own production of dual-use UAVs.
The materials of the State Committee indicate that the UAV center at the first stage mastered the production of two types of drones - an airplane type and a quadcopter.
The created center is fully equipped with technological, laboratory and testing equipment for the production, assembly, repair and maintenance of UAVs.
Earlier, Uzbekistan developed a night vision device for the military.
In addition, Uzbek specialists have also created a combat module based on the Utes machine gun for domestic light armored cars, Sputnik-Uzbekistan writes.
