The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, in his Telegram channel ridiculed Ukraine's plans to build its own cosmodrome.
"Ukrainian scientists are discussing the construction of a cosmodrome on the border of Odessa and Mykolaiv regions near the Black Sea coast, local publications write," the head of the state corporation wrote.
Rogozin accompanied the publication with an excerpt from the film "Evenings on a farm near Dikanka", where the blacksmith Vakula flies across the sky on the line. Thus, the head of Roscosmos ironically assessed the plans of Ukrainian scientists.
Earlier it became known that the participants of the founding conference of the All-Ukrainian Association of Innovation and Space Clusters wanted to build a cosmodrome in Ukraine. As a location, they proposed the border of the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions near the Black Sea coast.
