On Thursday, January 20, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Nikolai Evmenov signed the Convention on the International Organization for Maritime Navigation Equipment on behalf of the Russian Federation. The ceremony was held at the residence and in the presence of the French Ambassador to our country Pierre Levy.
The military department noted that, in accordance with article 3 of the convention, the purpose of the new organization is to unite the efforts of governments and organizations related to the regulation, supply, maintenance or operation of marine navigation equipment.
And the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy spoke about the great contribution and active participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Transport of Russia, as well as the Rosatom state Corporation in the development of this convention and the creation of a new organization.
