The share of modern weapons and military equipment in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by the end of 2022 should grow to at least 72.7%. This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko at the Single Day of acceptance of military products.
According to him, in order to achieve such a level of modernity of weapons and military equipment, it is necessary to guarantee the fulfillment of their obligations to defense industry enterprises and ensure the rhythmic supply of equipment and weapons.
According to him, now the tasks of the state defense order for 2022 are placed in the industry. For the timely delivery of weapons and military equipment, the practice of concluding long-term state contracts has continued.
"The share of such contracts in the total volume of the state defense order has reached 83 percent," Krivoruchko said.
