Moscow. January 19. INTERFAX - The Russian Defense Ministry said that the planned large-scale joint exercises with Belarus do not contradict the Vienna Document of 2011 on confidence- and security-building measures.
"The number of military personnel and equipment involved in the exercises that fall under the Vienna Document of 2011 does not exceed the parameters defined by it, which are subject to notification," the Russian military department said on Wednesday.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said that as part of the inspection of the reaction forces of the Union State, which will take place in two stages and will end on February 20, 12 Su-35 aircraft, two divisions of S-400 air defense systems and a division of Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon complexes will be relocated to the territory of Belarus from Russia."
