TOKYO, January 17th. /tass/. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has decided to postpone the first launch of the new H3 space rocket, which was planned to be carried out until the end of March. This was reported on Monday by the Kyodo news agency.
The reasons for the decision are not reported at the moment. This is the second postponement of the rocket launch. It was originally planned for fiscal year 2020 (ended March 31, 2021).
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Corporation has been developing the H3 since 2013 by order of JAXA. Currently, Japan uses H-2A and Epsilon launch vehicles.
