Created by the "Military-Industrial Company" armored car "MIC-Ural" has been tested in parts of the Rosgvardiya. As reported on the MIC's Instagram page, the armored vehicle, also known as the MIC-59095S, has confirmed its tactical and technical characteristics and is ready to be accepted for supply to units of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops.
Photos of this multi-purpose vehicle, which has a characteristic color and identification markings, have also been published. Previously, these machines were shown only in sand camouflage.
The first demonstration of such equipment took place relatively recently - at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2019" in the Moscow region.
A special feature of the sample is the enhanced mine protection, designed for the use of land mines weighing up to 6 kilograms by the enemy. To increase the level of security, additional screens can be installed.
"VPK-Ural" can accommodate up to twelve people. It is equipped with a 360-horsepower turbodiesel and an automatic transmission. The maximum speed on the highway is 100 km/h. The power reserve is 1000 km. The total weight is 14500 kg. Ground clearance - 400 mm. Length - 6,500 mm, width - 2,550 mm, height - 2,800 mm.
Last year, it became known about the development of a new variant - a pickup truck intended for deliveries to a foreign customer.
