Peacekeepers protect airfields, bakeries, thermal power plants, telecentres
MOSCOW, January 12. /tass/. CSTO peacekeepers in Kazakhstan conduct round-the-clock monitoring using unmanned aerial vehicles in four aerial reconnaissance areas. This was reported to journalists in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"To control the situation in the areas where tasks are performed by the units of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, units of unmanned aerial vehicles are involved. Monitoring of the situation by unmanned aerial vehicles is conducted around the clock in four areas of aerial reconnaissance, the results of which are received in real time to mobile control points," the report says.
The CSTO peacekeepers protect airfields, bakeries, thermal power plants, telecentres, water pumping stations, military depots, arsenals and other important state, military and socially significant facilities, including CHPP-1, CHPP-2, CHPP-3, Alma-Ata Bakery, Druzhba city water utility, three Almaty-Telecom telecommunications centers.
Earlier it was reported that over the past day, the units of the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO have taken five important socially significant objects under protection.
