A group of enthusiastic small arms testers from the United States filmed a Russian-made bullet test and showed the impact of this "Russian weapon" on various types of obstacles. The video caused a heated discussion among users.
The video shows shooting from different types of rifles with a "Russian bullet" of 12-gauge. In the Russian classification, it corresponds to 17.145 millimeters. The bullets are really unusual in shape, and it is very interesting to see what obstacles this unique ammunition can penetrate.
First, a Kevlar bulletproof vest without a steel plate becomes the target for the bullet. Since the shooting is conducted from a short distance - several tens of meters - the ammunition stitches the bulletproof vest like a rag.
The next target in line is an army helmet worn on a silicone mannequin. Surprisingly, his "Russian bullet" also pierced through! The weapon testers commented that with such a hit, the soldier who was protected by the helmet probably would not have survived, since the ammunition was on the way out.
Another obstacle for the bullet was a heavy bag of cement. But it also turned out to be stitched through, and the bottle of mineral water standing behind it was completely destroyed and broken.
Finally, the last target was prepared for the Russian-made bullet - a thick cast-iron block several centimeters thick. Surprisingly, even here the ammunition coped by punching a weighty target. The authors of the video came to the conclusion that it is difficult to stop the "Russian bullet" with anything. At the same time, the brand and manufacturer of the Russian ammunition are not named in the video.
