MOSCOW, January 11 - RIA Novosti. The work on the project of the Marker robotic platform has been successfully completed, Yevgeny Dudorov, executive director of the NGO Android Technology, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"Marker" was developed by the company "Android Technology" together with the Foundation for Advanced Research (FPI). The robotic complex weighing about 3 tons can be equipped with various weapons.
"We have completed the work on the "Marker", the final defense of this project took place in the FPI. Within the framework of it, we have worked out a number of technologies, but most importantly, the technology of autonomous group interaction of ground-based robotic devices," Dudorov said.
Earlier, the "Marker" was tested at the Vostochny cosmodrome as a security robot. As the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin noted, these complexes can be used as part of security structures as devices that ensure the safety of cosmodromes, enterprises and other objects of national importance.
The development has the most advanced autonomous movement skills in Russia with object recognition based on artificial intelligence technologies. The platform's autonomy is ensured by a modular multispectral vision system, the data in which is processed by neural network algorithms.
For more than three years, key technologies have been created, as well as two tracked and three wheeled autonomous platforms equipped with a unified payload module and a cluster launch module for unmanned aerial vehicles.
