TSAMTO, January 11. With the military personnel of the motorized rifle unit of the combined arms association of the Air Defense Forces, stationed in the Trans-Baikal Territory, the training of anti-aircraft gunners of MANPADS began on the universal complex simulator "Cone".
Military anti-aircraft gunners are trained on a new simulator to determine the altitude and flight speed of an air target, to assess the boundaries of launch zones on the oncoming and catch-up flight courses of the target.
In addition, military personnel are trained to perform operations to detect, capture and escort targets, launch missiles in manual or automatic mode.
In addition to training in shooting using a simulator, in the classroom of the training corps of the motorized rifle unit, where the simulator is mounted, trainings are conducted with the participation of experienced anti-aircraft gunners in order to maintain and improve the skills of shooting from MANPADS, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
