ROSTOV-ON-DON, January 11. /tass/. A series of exercises with the participation of Russian servicemen, military personnel from India, Egypt and Pakistan will be held in the fall, the press service of the Southern Military District (SE) told reporters on Tuesday.
"A joint Russian-Indian interspecific exercise Indra-2022 is planned to be held on the territory of the Southern Federal District. In September, ground units of the armed forces of Russia and India will work out joint training tasks at the combined arms range Prudboy in the Volgograd region. The marine component of the exercise will be organized in the Black Sea. <...> In the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for the joint Russian-Pakistani exercise "Friendship-2022" units of the Southern Military District will go in October. Specialists of the military air defense of the Southern Military District are preparing to hold a joint Russian-Egyptian exercise "Arrow of Friendship - 2022" on the territory of the Arab Republic of Egypt in September,"the message says.
Military sailors from Egypt, together with the crews of ships of the Black Sea Fleet, will take part in maneuvers in the Black Sea this year. And joint Russian-Kazakh exercises will be held in the Caspian Sea.
The press service added that the military personnel of the Southern Military District will go to Algeria in August, where they will take part in joint tactical exercises with the military of the republic. Sailors of the Black Sea Fleet with colleagues from Algeria will conduct exercises in the Mediterranean Sea.
