The requirements for the appearance of a promising Russian combat helicopter will be formed within a year and a half. Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and industrial enterprises finish discussing the technical details of the new machine.
According to TASS, the requirements for a promising combat helicopter are currently being discussed and finalized. In the next one and a half to two years, the discussion of a promising vehicle with the military department will be completed.
The next stage is the discussion within the military-industrial commission.
Recall that in November last year, the general director of the Russian Helicopters holding, Andrey Boginsky, said that promising Russian attack helicopters will be able to be controlled by a pilot or operate without a pilot.
Optionally, manned helicopters will have the ability to connect to a common information field for interaction between ground control points and aircraft, including drones.
In addition, promising helicopters and other combat aircraft of the future will be able to use universal weapons. But the external shapes and fuselage of a promising Russian helicopter may differ significantly from modern ones.
"When the requirements are finalized, it will be possible to say with what these requirements will be fulfilled," Andrei Boginsky said.
