MOSCOW, January 5 - RIA Novosti. Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region will be the first in Russia to create an automatic design system, Pavel Sozinov, the company's general designer, said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We haven't had this before, and now there are computer–aided design systems, for example, radars. In the near future, we are going to make the same system for rocket science," Sozinov is quoted as saying on the Kremlin's website.
He stressed that "these are fundamental things that did not exist at all." "Rayton and Lockheed Martin have similar software products, no one else has them yet. So we took a swing at it, in general, not without success," the general designer added.
Sozinov noted that the new design system is attractive for a number of specialists who are not so routine in solving technological and design tasks.
