Dubai. January 4th. INTERFAX - Saudi Arabia's air defense system intercepted and destroyed five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched in the direction of the kingdom, the Arab coalition against the Houthis said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Houthi attack, the report says, was launched from the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. On Monday, the coalition presented videos of the destruction of three UAVs in southern Saudi Arabia.
The Coalition confirmed that it is taking all operational measures necessary to eliminate the sources of threat and respond to them immediately.
Fighting between the coalition and rebel forces has intensified in recent months.
