The Military Innovation Technopolis "ERA" hosted an IT forum, which launched the "New Year Hackathon" - a forum for IT specialists, during which participants solve case problems, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
More than 70 participants of the hackathon - operators of scientific companies - joined 14 teams, who were asked to solve three tasks related to machine processing and analysis of information. Three days are allotted for solving tasks.
The first task required the development of a software solution (web application) for automatic processing of unstructured data. The second is the creation of a software solution for the selection and search in the data stream of objects that meet the specified characteristics. The third task invited the participants to develop a prototype of a web application for analyzing the professional skills of specialists on their network behavior.
The project to create hackathons and popularize artificial intelligence will cover 85 regions of Russia. This statement was made by Alexey Agafonov, Deputy Director General of ANO "Russia is a land of opportunities" on December 15. The project was launched in June 2020. 10 out of 116 planned events were held.
