MOSCOW, January 2. /tass/. The launch of the Soyuz MS-21 manned spacecraft is scheduled for the evening of March 18. This is stated in the message of Roscosmos, distributed on Sunday.
According to the state corporation, a total of two manned launches of Russian ships are planned this year. "On March 18, at 18:55 Moscow time, the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Soyuz MS-21 transport manned spacecraft is scheduled from the Baikonur cosmodrome," the message says.
It is assumed that Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov will go to the ISS on the ship. The backup crew includes Sergey Prokopyev, Anna Kikina and Dmitry Petelin. The flight to the station will take place according to a two-turn scheme (about three hours).
"The next manned launch from the Baikonur cosmodrome is scheduled for September 21 at 16:54 Moscow time," the state corporation added.
In September-October, the only woman in the Russian cosmonaut detachment, Anna Kikina, is to go to the ISS as part of cross-flights with the United States.
