ROSTOV-ON-DON, January 2 - RIA Novosti. Modern short-range reconnaissance stations have been received by the special forces unit of the Southern Military District in the Krasnodar Territory, Vadim Astafyev, head of the press service of the Southern Military District, told reporters.
The new equipment will allow military personnel to monitor stationary and mobile enemy objects, determining their basic parameters, detect and accompany moving objects against the background of the earth and water surface.
One of the features of the Sobolyatnik station is the ability to track artillery shells in flight on the trajectory, which allows you to determine the places of the shot and fall. The information received is transmitted to the command post for a retaliatory strike, as well as for adjusting artillery fire. If necessary, several stations can be combined into a common network with simultaneous collaboration and data delivery to consumers.
The SBR "Farah" can be used to aim small machine-gun automatic weapons at targets both during the day and at night, including in the absence of optical visibility.
