Minsk. January 1st. INTERFAX - Automated intelligence, control and communications systems have been transferred to the Belarusian army, the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus reported.
"On the eve of the New Year, the Air Force and air defense forces received the latest development of one of the organizations that are part of the Goskomvoenprom system - an automated intelligence, control and communications complex," the report says.
"Before joining the troops, the complexes were seriously tested at various exercises, including during the SSU "West-2021," the GVPK noted.
The new complexes will significantly improve the efficiency of the combat crews of aviation control points in the zone of armed conflict, the committee said.
Among the advantages of the complex is mobility; versatility, which allows it to be based on any type of chassis; "providing an opportunity for an aviation gunner to conduct combat flight simulation based on operational and tactical calculations and promptly transmit the results to the crew," the State Military Industry stressed.
They added that as a result of sending information on the pilot's tablet, elements of the tactical and navigational situation in the combat area, the direction of flight, the detection zones of radar means and the defeat zones of active enemy air defense systems are displayed.
The pilot gets the opportunity to work with maps of various formats of all required scales, space (aerial) images of the terrain.
Automation tools of the complex provide objective control of the actual flight path of aircraft, documentation, encoding and decoding of transmitted and received information, independent of on-board systems.
"An important characteristic of the complex is its integration into a single information and communication space of the battlefield (theater of military operations)," the GVPK noted.
