MOSCOW, Dec 29 - RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation proposed to update the requirements for the technical characteristics of civil and service weapons and ammunition, including adding terms related to it, the corresponding draft order of the department is published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
"To approve the attached forensic requirements for the technical characteristics of civilian and service weapons, as well as ammunition, agreed with the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology," the document says.
In particular, the general provisions of the document define the basic concepts and terms applied to weapons: body part, reversible design changes, irreversible design changes, machining, one-piece assembly unit and cartridge type. Previously, these terms were not spelled out in the relevant order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
