TSAMTO, December 29. The heads of the largest scientific, educational and industrial structures of Russia exchanged experience at the training and methodological gathering at the Military Academy of the General Staff.
"In our work, we must take into account current changes in the military-political situation, the latest achievements of scientific thought, as well as the dynamic development of technology and weapons. Close contacts with representatives of the military-industrial complex, science and leading Russian universities allow the educational process to keep up with the times, prepare our graduates in accordance with the requirements of today," said Vladimir Zarudnitsky, the head of the academy, opening the gathering.
The gathering program started with a speech by Vladimir Kutakhov, director of the project complex "Robotic Aviation Systems" of the Zhukovsky Institute. He devoted his report to the issues of intellectualization and group application of unmanned aircraft systems.
Pavel Sozinov, General Designer of the Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region, told the audience about the prospects for the development of air defense-missile defense weapons.
Igor Abylgaziev, the first Vice-rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, devoted his speech to the geopolitical challenges of Russia's national security in the modern world, and Ivan Surma, head of the Department of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, devoted his speech to modern international relations.
The participants of the gathering paid special attention to the situation in Central Asia. A report on the situation in Afghanistan was made by Professor of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Yevgeny Nikitenko. He touched upon the "post-American" period of development of the Islamic Republic, analyzing possible challenges and threats in the region.
The audience was greatly interested in the speech of the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov, who devoted his report to topical issues of the Organization's activities.
Experts from Moscow State University and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University shared their theoretical foundations and practical experience of information operations.
Upon completion of the collection, the materials of the reports will be systematized, published and will find application in the scientific and educational activities of the main military university of Russia, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
