Moscow. December 28. INTERFAX - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu thanked the defense Industrial complex (MIC), which in 2021 helped significantly upgrade the armament of the Russian army.
"A week ago, at an expanded meeting of the board, we summed up the results of the outgoing year. Despite all the difficulties, 2021 was quite successful for us. And today, taking this opportunity, I would like to thank our industry, which has allowed us to reach the level of modernity in all types of weapons at fairly high rates. Speaking in general, this is more than 71 percent," Shoigu said on a conference call on Tuesday.
He also noted very high indicators of serviceability of military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces.
