TSAMTO, December 28. The intelligence units of the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District (SE) received another batch of new small-sized radar stations "Sobolyatnik".
"Sobolyatnik– is a multifunctional detection tool. The station is capable of detecting small-sized objects at a distance of tens of kilometers. Despite the extremely small overall and weight characteristics, the station can be used to detect and simultaneously automatically track up to 20 targets, including to adjust artillery fire along the trajectory of shells and their ruptures.
Military intelligence officers will test modern radar stations in the field at the Nikolo-Alexandrovsky training ground.
More than 300 scouts of the Southern Military District have already been trained and tested special tasks using the Sobolyatnik radar this year, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
