TSAMTO, December 28. The new AK-12 submachine guns, which entered service with the troops of the Eastern Military District, were tested by military intelligence units in the Khabarovsk Territory.
The new small arms were tested at the Knyaz-Volkonsky combined arms training ground as part of practical training on combat training.
A feature of the classes was the use of AK-12 assault rifles in conditions of severe frosts. The temperature at the landfill dropped below -30 deg. C.
In these conditions, the servicemen with regular weapons fulfilled the standards for overcoming the obstacle course for a while in full gear. The final stage of the event was the firing of new weapons.
In conditions of extremely low temperatures, the high efficiency of the AK-12 Kalashnikov assault rifle, its reliability, accuracy and accuracy of firing were confirmed, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
