In terms of the number of launches of space rockets, Roscosmos in 2021 equaled 2019, according to TASS calculations
MOSCOW, December 27. /tass/. Dmitry Rogozin, Director General of Roscosmos, congratulated the state corporation and all space enthusiasts on the accident-free completion of the launch campaign this year.

In terms of the number of launches of space rockets, Roscosmos in 2021 equaled 2019, launching 25 rockets from four cosmodromes: Baikonur, Vostochny, Plesetsk and Kuru, according to TASS calculations. In 2021, the Soyuz-2, Proton-M and Angara carriers were launched.
This year, eight more launches were carried out than in the past. The 2020 figure was beaten on October 28. At the same time, on December 27, two launches of different rockets from different cosmodromes were carried out at once, and on November 24-25, two rockets were launched from different cosmodromes within one day.
The launch of the Angara-A5 space rocket was carried out on Monday at 22:00 Moscow time by a combat crew of the Space Forces of the Aerospace Forces from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region.
Earlier on Monday, the Soyuz-2.1b rocket launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. She put 36 British OneWeb communications satellites into orbit with the Fregat upper stage, at the moment all the devices have entered target orbits. As a result, the British grouping in orbit has increased to 394 satellites.
