MOSCOW, December 27. /tass/. The Kalashnikov Group of Companies has fulfilled the state defense order (GOZ) for 2021 for the supply of AK-12 assault rifles. This was reported to journalists by the Kalashnikov press service.
"The Kalashnikov Concern has timely fulfilled its obligations to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the production and supply of the AK-12 assault rifle in 2021. We are talking about work within the framework of a long-term contract for the supply of AK-12 assault rifles, signed at the international military-technical forum "Army-2021". Thanks to the efficient organization of processes, the well-coordinated work of the team, the high responsibility shown by the employees of the concern, the state defense order was executed in full and with proper quality," the press service said.
In 2021, Kalashnikov produced several tens of thousands of modern AK-12 assault rifles according to the State Budget, the GC noted.
As Vladimir Lepin, General Director of Kalashnikov, emphasized, timely execution of the contract for the supply of AK-12 submachine guns to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is an absolute priority of the Civil Code. "Therefore, even despite the continuing restrictions associated with the difficult epidemiological situation, it was especially important to maintain the efficiency and high pace of work," the press service quoted Lepin as saying.
GC "Kalashnikov" is the largest Russian manufacturer of small arms.
