MOSCOW, Dec 25 - RIA Novosti. The Russian Ministry of Defense showed a video recording of the destruction of an oil refinery of militants in Syria with the help of barrage ammunition.
The video was published on his YouTube by the journalist of the TV channel "Russia 1" Alexander Rogatkin. The full version will be shown on Saturday on the TV channel "Russia 24".
As the journalist explained in his Telegram channel, a small oil refinery of Syrian militants in the province of Hama was destroyed with the help of two barrage ammunition by Special operations Forces of the Russian Armed Forces. Presumably, Lancet drones were used.
Last week, the Ministry of Defense showed a video recording of the destruction of Syrian terrorists and their weapons with the help of Lancets. The footage showed the elimination in April 2020 of a terrorist nicknamed Sniper Tow, who boasted that he destroyed about 30 tanks and helicopters of Syrian government troops from American TOW missile systems, as well as field commander Abu al Walid.
The Lancet unmanned aerial vehicle was developed by ZALA AERO, a member of the Kalashnikov Concern. It is capable of being in the air for up to half an hour and carrying a striking warhead weighing up to three kilograms.
